![I’m annoyed with the word “healthy”.
Not because I don’t care about wellbeing, but because “healthy” has started to feel like something I have to perform instead of something I can actually feel in my body.
Healthy food. Healthy habits. Healthy relationships.
It starts to blur into pressure… into measurement… into trying to get myself “right.”
And my body doesn’t respond well to that kind of language.
Lately I’ve been sitting with something different:
What if health isn’t optimization…
but access to yourself?
Not as an idea, but as a felt sense.
The moment you can hear yourself.
Feel yourself.
And respond from within yourself, rather than overriding yourself.
In that sense, autonomy isn’t independence or perfection. It’s nervous system capacity. It’s whether there’s enough space inside you to have a choice at all.
And that changes how I look at intimacy too.
Because it’s not just what we choose…
it’s whether our body feels safe enough to choose.
So I’m curious:
